Put A Little Away Every Month

Only about 6% of working South Africans can afford to retire comfortably!

It’s tough to save every month, but retirement will be a much tougher situation if you don’t.  Every little bit helps; if you start saving R100 per month at the age of 20 you will receive the same amount as a 30-year-old who saves R1000 per month and a 40-year-old who saves R1500 per month.  While a 50-year-old will have to save R4000 a month to receive that same amount at retirement.

This means that the earlier you start – the easier it will be.

Our new article published in the Star Workplace provides you with some tips for retirement that you might not have thought of yet.
